DIANA JOYCE is Director of Market and Institutional Research, supporting Strategic Planning and Constituency Development at the University of Chicago. In this capacity, Diana and her team create and execute an integrated market research, institutional research and data mining program to support successful fundraising and alumni relations strategies across the University. Formerly, Diana was Associate Vice President for Roper Public Affairs and Media, a NY-based market research firm, where she spent eight years designing and managing strategic survey research projects for corporate and media clients.
A native of Philadelphia, JOSPH BUCK has been at the University of Chicago as the Senior Director, University Leadership Gifts since December of 2007. Joe's focus has been to build out a comprehensive fundraising program for gifts across the University at the $1-5 Million range. Joe has worked closely with his colleagues in Prospect Management and Institutional Research to identify, report and drive fundraising activity for the University's leadership gift prospects. Before moving to Chicago, Joe was a part of the major gift programs at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania as well as LaSalle University. Prior to development work, Joe was educational software consultant with Pearson Education.
LESLIE TAYLOR GONNELLA is the Senior Director of Research and Prospect Management, supporting Strategic Planning and Constituency Development at the University of Chicago. In this role, Leslie and her teams conduct prospect identification, in-depth background research on prospective donors, balance gift officer portfolios and support ongoing prospect pool analysis and reporting. Leslie has nearly 12 years of professional research, prospect and data management experience with corporate, nonprofit, government and international organizations as well as higher education institutions including University of Chicago Office of Medical Center and the Pritzker School of Medicine, Grenzebach Glier & Associates, The Rotary Foundation, University of Maryland, United States Embassy in Budapest, Hungary, United States Department of Commerce in Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
