This workshop provides an overview of the art and science of persuasive writing for development. Using real-life examples, individual exercises, and group case studies, we will discuss how donors think, what motivates them, and what works in crafting a memorable message. Taught by past faculty members from the annual CASE Campaign Strategies conference, this workshop will cover the requisite steps toward success, along with the key players, budgetary demands, decisive moments, unavoidable challenges, celebratory occasions, and much more.
